Course Overview
To complete your curriculum, you will select seven approved electives. You may choose a thesis or a non-thesis option. The thesis option is best if you wish to pursue a research career or doctoral study. The non-thesis option is best if you wish to make the master of science your terminal degree. The courses you take in the online program are identical to those offered to on-campus students. They are designed and taught by regular FSU faculty. Course delivery is asynchronous, enhanced by various interactive Internet-based learning applications. If you wish, you may take some of your coursework on campus as your work and family demands change.
