We offer a comprehensive and flexible Master of Science in Engineering (M.S. E.) degree program that includes courses from several areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins is committed to providing a rigorous educational experience that prepares students for further study and successful careers, and is dedicated to research that contributes to fundamental knowledge in both analytical and experimental aspects of the field. The mission of our undergraduate programs is to provide a stimulating and flexible curriculum in fundamental and advanced topics in electrical and computer engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and humanities, in an environment that fosters development of analytical, computational, and experimental skills and that involves students in design projects and research experiences. At the graduate level, our mission is to provide advanced training that prepares master's graduates to work at the forefront of knowledge in their chosen specialty, and prepares doctoral students for original research that will advance the frontiers of knowledge in their chosen areas.
