Course Overview
The curriculum provides a unique opportunity to build both technical and leaderships skills in order to contribute to a multi-disciplinary engineering management team. Instructors are experienced technical leaders and executives who discuss real-world challenges in formats that are convenient for professionals working at the nation's top engineering firms and R&D organizations. Upon completing the degree program, students will: Demonstrate the ability to professionally communicate (verbally and written) as a technical leader. Demonstrate the skills in leading a technical organization as an executive (CIO, CTO) of a diverse team of technical professionals as demonstrated by team assignments of two technical case studies. Demonstrate the ability to develop a corporate strategic technology plan as demonstrated by completing an actual plan as demonstrated in the case studies.
