The MBL FU is the only postgraduate programme of the Department of Law at the Freie Universitat Berlin, which is in the English language.
With its focus at European business, competition, energy and telecommunication law the MBL-FU is intended to give young legal scholars and economists from businesses, law firms and public authorities the opportunity to gain in-depth, specialist knowledge in these areas in order to enhance their professional skills.
The professors of the course are experts from international enterprises, law firms and international public authorities (esp. German Federal Cartel Office, German Federal Network Agency, EU-Commission) who guarantee an excellent academic and practical foundation for the course. In Germany the MBL is one of the very few postgraduate programmes which pursues a blended-learning-concept, combining traditional learning methods and e-learning.
