Course Overview

There will be times when Registered Nurses will be caring for patients whose healthcare issues intersect with the law. The complexities that such patients bring into the health arena have far reaching medical and legal consequences. Therefore, Registered Nurses can benefit extensively by accessing contemporary forensic education. Graduates of this course will be able to substantially advance their knowledge and skills of forensic nursing and effectively respond to challenging situations and professional issues within their scope of practice in this important area. The course is aimed at enabling the Registered Nurse to develop knowledge and consolidate skills to function as specialists within their chosen discipline.
