Joint Degrees: Students enrolled in joint degrees combine their studies in law or business with the MGA to gain a competitive advantage in their field within an accelerated time frame. The Juris Doctor/Master of Global Affairs (JD/MGA) is offered with the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. The Combined Juris Doctor/Master of Global Affairs (JD/MGA) is designed for students interested in studying the intersections of law and global affairs. The combined program permits the completion of both degrees in four years rather than the five years it would take to acquire them independently. The Master of Global Affairs/ Master of Business Administration (MGA/MBA) is offered with the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. The combined MGA/MBA program provides students with an opportunity to integrate a truly international approach and perspective into their study of business and bring a business perspective to the study of global affairs. MGA students have the option of focusing their degree in the area of European Studies through a partnership with the Master of Arts program in European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at the Munk School. Students who pursue this option must take a minimum of 1. 0 FCE elective courses that focus on European studies. Their summer internship must also have a European focus. Students may meet their 1. 0 FCE elective requirement by taking courses through CERES. Students in the Master of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies program may pursue an MGA Policy Option by taking elective courses through the MGA program.
