Course Overview

At the i School we seek students who will serve as the next generation of leaders in information science and who will succeed in the dynamic and evolving global information society. The MLIS program is designed for students from a wide variety of academic and career backgrounds, and is flexible enough to accommodate students working full or part-time. Students can complete their MLIS degree in-person, fully online, or through a hybrid approach. Each student in the MLIS Program selects one of our unique specializations. Students who pursue the " Individualized Program Plan" may create their own course plan. Specialization offerings include: Archives and Digital Curation, Community Analytics and Policy, Individualized Program Plan, Diversity and Inclusion, School Library, Youth Experience
