The course is suitable if you have graduated with an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent from a field other than accounting, and wish to pursue a career in professional accounting, or progress to senior or management roles. This course is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of accounting, including the professional knowledge and standards required for industry membership and advancement. The course comprises 16 units which must be completed in two stages. On successful completion of the eight units, you can progress to the CPA Australia Extension stream and concurrently enrol in the professional level of the CPA Program with CPA Australia.
