Course Overview
With wide-ranging modules and research topics, you can choose whether to specialise in something you have already studied, or develop a brand new area of knowledge. Whichever route you choose, the LLM (Professional Legal Practice) provides a significant boost to your career prospects and sets you apart from other LPC or BPTC graduates. How the programme is structured, As our LPC and BPTC are taught at Masters level, you already have 120 of the 180 credits required for a full Law Masters. You can complete the remaining 60 credits of your LLM (Professional Legal Practice) by taking one of the following pathways: Two research projects; or One research project and one taught module from our range of LLMs You have five years from the start of your LPC and BPTC to complete the full Masters Degree programme. Ways to study The LLM (Professional Legal Practice) is taught predominantly online, with face-to-face options in London. You can complete it in just 15 weeks after finishing your LPC or BPTC, or up to four years later. There are multiple start dates each year. You can choose to take both modules at the same time or you can do the modules consecutively taking a break between them if it suits you. You can sign up for the full Masters degree when you register for the LPC or BPTC if you wish or you can choose to convert to a full Masters degree during or after your LPC or BPTC.
