Course Overview
Public Relations is rapidly evolving as consumers/stakeholders increasingly take control on instantly accessible worldwide communication channels, and organisations rely less and less on newspapers and traditional media to disseminate information. The MSc Public Relations programme is led by Michael Parsons who has over 15 years experience of lecturing. Michael is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations as well as the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has worked on a number of public relations and marketing consultancy projects across the private and public sector. Michael-s research interests include political PR/ marketing and the use of social media. He is a frequent television and newspaper commentator on the use of social media by politicians.
