Full Time Courses for Environmental Engineering

Environmental engineering is a branch of engineering concerned with protecting people from the effects of adverse environmental effects as well as improving environmental quality. Natural phenomena can result in dangers for human activities and human life. An MSc in Environmental Engineering allows students to understand, model and predict the outcome of these mechanisms of action. Based on this knowledge they develop and apply strategies and technologies for an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable interaction between the natural and the technical environment. They learn to use the principles of engineering, soil science, biology and chemistry to develop solutions to environmental problems. Environmental Engineering Master’s graduates go on to become, amongst others, senior environmental engineers, environmental health and service directors, environmental engineering consultants and green building engineers.
