Part Time Courses for Transportation Engineering

Transportation Engineering is the application of scientific principles and technologies to the planning, design, analysis, operation, and management of transportation systems e.g. highway, urban transit, air, rail and water, in order to provide for the movement of people and goods from one place to another in a safe and efficient manner. Transportation Engineering Master’s programmes have a strong foundation in traffic engineering, transportation planning, transportation economics, public transportation systems, and intelligent transportation systems. Students will gain technical knowledge and understand the theory and concepts involved in transportation. The different career options for graduates can be divided between the following three disciplines: creation, maintenance and development. Some may go on to creating a new system or building a new train or look after existing fleets of vehicles and investigate how to create more efficient engines and vehicles that can carry more people and use less fuel.
