Environmental Management

Environmental management is a field of study that encompasses the administrative functions that develop, implement and monitor the environmental policy of an organization. Students of a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management will acquire skills to assess and apply complex management concepts in order to solve environmental challenges. They will explore environmental sciences and their practical application and gain knowledge in natural sciences, including knowledge of methods in system analysis, modelling, geographic information systems (GIS) and data management. An Environmental manager is the most common career opportunity for graduates with a degree in Environmental Resource Management. They create and implement new strategies to maintain and develop the corporate environment. However, some graduates do decide to start their career in the public sector or in human resource management.
