Part Time Courses for Toxicology

Toxicology is a field that focuses on the study of chemicals that have adverse effects for living organisms. Toxicology is subdivided in many areas: Regulatory Toxicology & Public Health, Cellular & Molecular Toxicology, Reproductive & Developmental Toxicology, Behavioral & Neurotoxicology, Environmental & Veterinary Toxicology, Applied Toxicology & Food Safety and many more. A Master’s in Toxicology (M.Sc) allows students to apply chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, pathology, neuroscience, immunology and ecology to problems in toxicology. Students will learn the adverse effects of chemicals found in industry, common households, agriculture, medicine and those that occur naturally in the environment. Graduates from a Master’s in Toxicology have a wide range of career options. They can work in universities or research centers, in hospitals, private forensic laboratories, chemical or biotechnology industries or with companies such as a Health and Safety Executive.
