Part Time Courses for Sustainable Development

Sustainable development focuses on the principle that human welfare should advance without exhausting essential resources, without posing risks to upcoming generations, and without causing irreversible damage to ecosystems and the Earth’s resources. A Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development (M.Sc) allows students to acquire integrated knowledge across a broad number of disciplines, including ecology, geography, economics, planning, law, environmental design and relevant social sciences. The aim is for students to be able to apply social, economic, business and scientific principles to the management of natural, rural, and urban resources. Graduates from a Master in Sustainable Development gain qualities that enable them to work in a range of careers in sustainability, and in different sectors such as technology, education, energy, political science or business. Common jobs include conservation officer, sustainability analyst or ecologist.
